All Children Deserve to be Free

WE ARE

A group of incurable optimists who believe that every child deserves a future and a chance to be free. We consider it a privilege to fight against injustice in all its forms and trust that when you protect, defend and champion children, you change the world.

Manafwa, Uganda

Our Country Directors, Bosco and Nancy Mukholi are the Directors of our local school, LWANDA. This school is intentionally established in the heart of rural Manafwa which allows some 500+ children of the surrounding rural region to have an on-going education and a chance at a bright future, whilst the area continues to endure crop shortages and economic instability.

As you can imagine, with famine, wars, economic upheaval, education is not often a luxury that is afforded to the children of Eastern Uganda. Education is freedom in this part of the world and we built a school to ensure just that!

Uganda Vision

Given's efforts are 3-fold in Uganda...

ONE: Continue construction of our school, Lawanda. We are in phase 1 of 3, having acquired over 8 acres of land in 2017 with crops and sustainable measures for the village to both grow and distribute food to the region. We have 3 buildings/classrooms complete, 3 full-time teachers and over 500 children. So more needs to be done!

TWO: We have a new well! This was something so fundamental to the health and longevity of this area and all our kids and families. That said, growth demands resources and thus, we will need an additional well during the course of 2018 to support the growing school numbers and increasing village demands.

Project: WELLDONE will highlight the specifics of this 2018 goal

THREE: In December of 2017 we launched our Child Sponsorship Program for each of our bases with Uganda having the largest opportunity with over 500 children needing a sponsor. $30/month allows a child to have a school uniform, class fees (yes, we are accredited in Uganda), books, meals and access to medical supplies (malaria meds, etc). As Always, 100% of ANY and ALL DONATIONS GOES DIRECTLY TO THE KIDS. No overhead. No salaries. No wondering where you money goes

Tucked away in the wiles and brays of Northern Ireland, just a 20 minute rail-ride from the sing-song, revival city of Belfast, is the historical town of Antrim. Antrim is the stuff of Irish legend, boasting World Heritage sites in the famous Giant's Causeway and the breathtaking Glens of Antrim and Glendun. It is here, nestled between the Celtic Sea and Lough Neagh that Stacey has chosen to change the lives of children forever.

Stacey Hanburry, resides in Antrim where she currently works for a local church as their children's director, utilizing Therapeutic Play as a form of restorative therapy for children with troubled backgrounds. She is helping children recover from a myriad of backgrounds; from those who had previously been homeless, to victims of abuse, all in the hopes to see them healed, healthy and with full hearts to go become the world-changers they truly are.
